This indelible incarnation of the original Hero of Tomorrow debuted in1979, starring Gil Gerard as William "Buck" Rogers. Buck was the last astronaut to pilot a deep-space probe. During a freak mishap, he was hurled 500 years into the future. When he awoke, he found himself in a strange, new place. With his blaster, a beautiful colonal, and a robot buddy at his side, he used his 20th century wit to defend the innocent and bring evil to justice.
