Columbia Telecom produced these ultra cool International Rescue Wrist Communicators in 2004, when the Thunderbirds film was released. Never offered for sale outright, these spiffy walkie talkies were part of a travel incentive by Hilton''s Homewood Suites Hotels, and were only available as part of the company''s "Thunderbirds Survival Pack." The pack was free to any child who stayed with a parent at one of the Homewood Suites in the Summer of 2004.
Long out of production, we were able to obtain a limited stock of these great Thunderbirds premiums! Ostensibly manufactured for kids, the wrist bands provided fit adults easily.
Each communicator features the International Rescue emblem and requires one 9 volt battery, not included.
