Shigeru Komatsuzaki is a legendary artist in Japanese illustration and comics. One of the things he is most famous for (besides creating and designing ATRAGON) is providing the IMAI company with many of the paintings used on the boxes of their Gerry Anderson related model kits during the 1960''s. Komatsuzaki created box covers for Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Joe 90, UFO, and Supercar models just to name a few.
This full color book reprints many of his finest paintings for IMAI in full aspect. Printed on heavy, high gloss paper stock, each page of this great book is a fine art print commemorating one of the greatest Japanese illustrators of his era. Komatsuzaki passed away Dec. 7, 2001.
